Une interview de Karim Benzema après son trophé de meilleur joueur UNFP du championnat de France 2007 /2008.

«Karim Benzema, ce trophée, ce n’est pas vraiment une surprise, si ?
Ça me fait surtout très plaisir. L’année dernière, j’avais fait un bon début de saison, mais j’avais été freiné dans ma progression par les pépins physiques. Là, tout s’est bien passé. Maintenant, je ne peux pas dire que je pensais à ce titre de meilleur joueur, ou même à celui de meilleur buteur. Pour moi, l’essentiel, c’est d’aider mon équipe à gagner chaque match. Il reste deux trophées à aller chercher pour un réalisé historique.

Cette distinction, vous en rêviez ?
Personnellement non, même si ça ne m’empêche pas d’être super content de l’avoir eu. Après, moi, je vise toujours plus haut.

Êtes-vous tout de même surpris par tout ce qui vous arrive ? Tout est allé très vite…
C’est vrai, mais l’année dernière, sans mes blessures, ça aurait aussi pu s’accélérer. Aujourd’hui, je suis surtout content d’avoir respecté ce que j’avais annoncé en début d’année lorsque j’avais déclaré que c’était ma saison. Depuis janvier, je sais que je suis plus surveillé, je prend plus de coups, mais je continue à ne faire attention qu’à moi. Dans ma tête, c’est marquer des buts, faire marquer, et faire gagner l’Olympique lyonnais.

Comment vivez-vous cette nouvelle notoriété ?
Ça se passe bien. J’ai un bon entourage, et une famille derrière moi qui me permettent de garder les pieds sur terre. Ce n’est que le début pour moi. J’ai encore beaucoup de choses à apprendre et à faire. C’est pour ça que je suis toujours à l’écoute des plus anciens dans mon équipe. Aussi bien à Lyon qu’en équipe de France.

Votre statut en club a tout de même dépassé celui de la plupart de vos équipiers ?
C’est vrai, mais je n’ai que vingt ans. Il faut toujours être à l’écoute des plus anciens. Juninho, Cris, Coupet, Govou, ils sont quand même installés au club depuis un certain nombre d’années. Ils sont toujours aussi importants au sein de l’OL.

A 20 ans, de quoi rêvez-vous ?
De tout gagner et de remettre ça dès l’année prochaine en réalisant une grosse saison. Mon objectif, c’est d’aller au sommet et de me surpasser à chaque fois. Je veux aller au plus haut niveau mondial.

Un mot sur votre victoire contre Nancy (1-0) samedi. Le titre vous tend désormais les bras ?
C’était important de gagner contre une bonne équipe, qui défend bien et qui était venue jouer le contre. On a su marquer ce but avec un peu de réussite, qui nous rapproche un peu plus du titre. C’est bien car l’année a été difficile. On a eu des coups durs avec les blessures de Cris, Coupet et Fred. Il y a aussi eu beaucoup de joueurs importants qui sont partis. Je suis content qu’on ait pu faire un bon Championnat.

Quelles sont vos attentes pour la saison prochaine ?
On va tenter de bâtir une équipe pour la Ligue des champions parce que, se faire éliminer à chaque fois en quarts ou en huitièmes, ce n’est pas plaisant. On va tenter de passer ce cap-là pour rentrer dans le gotha européen.

Êtes-vous inquiet par les changements qui pourraient être opérés à l’intersaison ?
Franchement, non. L’essentiel c’est d’avoir une grosse équipe pour le Championnat et la Ligue des champions.»

    I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop that runs on Windows XP. The problem with it is that my power button isnt working and does not turn my computer on, no matter how hard I press it. I was wondering if there was a way to change the functions of the quicklaunch buttons on my laptop so that, instead of the quickplay button bringing me to the quickplay screen and then having to click the windows button to restart my computer and bring me to my desktop, I could change the function of the quickplay quicklaunch button so that it would work as an alternate power button and just bring me directly to my desktop in the same manner that my power button did.
